Pitter-Pat! Pitter-patter, pitter-pat! Boom boom! From listening to such sounds to watching tiny waterfalls, from the lovely scent of moist soil to making paper boats, children love every bit of the monsoon. Why just children? In fact, mommies like me are crazy for rains too :-).

But rains also mean staying indoors more. And staying indoors means more time for fun with stories, books, papercraft, and hot crunch food. Ummm yum, crunchy food is already making me drool for pakodas with hot chai.
