The wise monkey who twice foils the plan of a crocodile to eat him up and the crocodile who assumes he is smarter than the monkey. The only thing the crocodile wants is the monkey flesh. Since the monkey doesn’t come to water and is always on the tree near the lake, the crocodile studies the monkey’s habits for some time, and then comes up with a cunning plan.
