The Monkey and the Crocodile

The Monkey and the Crocodile

In this retelling, there is a clever little monkey and a young crocodile. The wise monkey who twice foils the plan of a crocodile to eat him up and the crocodile who assumes he is smarter than the monkey. The only thing the crocodile wants is the monkey flesh. Since the monkey doesn’t come to water and is always on the tree near the lake, the crocodile studies the monkey’s habits for some time, and then comes up with a cunning plan.

The rest of the story is about if the crocodile got to eat the monkey? Or the monkey got to know the crocodiles plan and escaped. Who is smarter, the monkey or the crocodile?
